Job Description:

This travel healthcare contract offers an exciting opportunity for a skilled Registered Nurse to work in a specialized post-surgical and trauma unit. You'll be taking on a 12-hour day shift, providing care to adult patients recovering from various surgeries, trauma, and neurological events. The role involves managing complex cases including pre and post-operative trauma, TBIs, ortho, vascular, neuro, bariatric patients, and those with intracranial bleeds. Expect to use advanced skills such as managing respiratory support, administering cardiac drips, interpreting ABGs, and handling surgical drains and wound vacs. You will float within your skillset when needed, contributing to a team that values both independence and collaboration in a fast-paced environment. This assignment is ideal for proactive, experienced nurses who enjoy a diverse caseload and a chance to refine their critical care capabilities while exploring a vibrant city.
