Job Description:

Join this stepdown cardiac neuro unit for a night shift assignment that offers a chance to work with post-procedure cardiac patients, including those recovering from catheterizations, stents, pacers, and ICD placements. This role involves interpreting 12-lead EKGs, managing drips like Cardizem and Heparin, and performing neuro assessments such as NIHSS. You'll float within the same campus or nearby facilities as needed, with the occasional cross-campus shift to nearby facilities, provided with a 2-hour notice. This assignment promises a satisfying challenge for experienced stepdown nurses eager to showcase their critical thinking and assessment skills in a teaching hospital setting with a 19-bed unit.
