Job Description:

Join a dedicated healthcare team on the beautiful Big Island, where you'll provide primary nursing care in a 15-bed Progress Care Unit that includes step-down ICU and telemetry. This assignment offers an engaging mix of patient monitoring, telemetry strip reading, fingerstick blood sugar checks, and the use of equipment like BIPAP and continuous cardiac monitors. As a travel RN, you'll have the opportunity to float across various acute care units, including medical, surgical, pediatric, ICU, and ER, ensuring a versatile experience. The role requires a minimum of one year of recent hospital acute care experience, with preferred proficiency in telemetry care. Work a 36-hour week, primarily on varied shifts, with no scheduled call responsibilities. Bring your skills—and perhaps your ACLS, PALS, or NIHSS certifications—to this dynamic setting that combines professional growth with the vibrancy of Hawaii.
