Job Description:

Join our team as a physical therapist in a 101-bed facility located in Lincolnton, NC, and make a difference in adult patient recovery. You'll handle around eight patients daily, focusing on stroke rehab, post-surgical recovery, and mobility assessments, including gait and transfer training. This role offers the chance to work alongside a skilled team, including a PTA, nursing staff, OT, RT, and support personnel. You'll use your experience with mobility equipment and discharge planning to help adults regain independence. The setting emphasizes hands-on therapy with a collaborative atmosphere, with orientation and support to ensure a smooth transition into the hospital environment. This assignment provides a balanced schedule of 8-hour days, giving you time to enjoy what the local area has to offer.
