Job Description:

Join a dedicated cardiology-focused PCU as a travel nurse in Silverdale, Washington, where you'll support patients recovering from procedures like TAVR, post-caths, and lobectomies. This role involves working 12-hour night shifts, offering a balanced schedule with 36 hours per week over a 13-week contract. You'll be responsible for managing patients with complex cardiac needs, including titratable drips such as nitroglycerin, heparin, and amiodarone, while utilizing shared unit skills like reading EKG strips and monitoring patients on CPAP and BiPAP. With a unit ratio of 1:3-4 on the PCU and 1:8 during the day for CNAs, you'll collaborate closely with a charge nurse and have access to hospitalist MDs and RTs around the clock. This assignment provides opportunities to test out of Epic training if experienced, and offers the chance to work with advanced telemetry equipment in a supportive environment that values flexibility and team play.
