Job Description:
Join a fast-paced emergency department as a registered nurse on a 12-hour night shift, working in a state-of-the-art 70-bed unit at Ellis Hospital's Neil and Jane Golub Center for Emergency Care in Schenectady, NY. In this role, you will be responsible for providing critical nursing care, including managing drips and infusions, starting IVs, performing EKGs, transporting patients, and administering medications. The position requires flexibility to float within your competencies to various units within the ED. This assignment offers a unique opportunity to gain experience in a wide range of medical, surgical, and psychiatric services, including trauma, cardiac, neurology, and mental health crisis stabilization, all while working in a modern, well-equipped facility where no two shifts are exactly alike.
