Job Description:

This travel assignment in Artesia, NM, offers a unique opportunity for experienced emergency department nurses to work in a facility that handles high-acuity cases, including trauma, STEMI, and stroke patients. You will be actively engaged in managing a diverse case load that ranges from minor injuries to critical traumas caused by mining accidents and industrial injuries. Prior modules need to be completed before starting, but once on the floor, you'll experience fast-paced shifts where your critical thinking and independent skills will truly shine. The environment allows you to perform advanced procedures such as titrating drips like Amio, Epi, and Insulin, and interpreting EKGs and tele strips. With a 12-hour shift structure, you'll have ample time to immerse yourself in an environment that challenges and sharpens your trauma care expertise while enjoying the support of experienced staff and the hospital’s high level of technical capabilities.
