Job Description:

Join this step down unit as a Registered Nurse specializing in Oncology or Medical-Surgical care, with a focus on chemotherapy administration and IV start procedures. You will care for general medicine and oncology step-down patients, often working in a fast-paced environment that requires both technical skill and adaptability. The role offers the chance to work 36 or 48-hour weeks, with certain shifts calling for precision and compassion as you help patients through their recovery journey. Attention to detail with equipment such as Welch Allyn vital sign towers, sigma IV pumps, and documentation in EPIC will be essential. If you possess either an ONC or ONS certification (with an approved status pending is acceptable), along with at least two years of PCU/Stepdown experience, this assignment could be a great fit. Support staff availability and potential floating to other med-surg and emergency areas provides a varied professional experience—ideal for nurses eager to expand their clinical skills in a collaborative setting.
