Job Description:

This neonatal intensive care role offers a vital opportunity to work with some of the smallest and most vulnerable patients. You'll be responsible for caring for preemies and critically ill newborns, often with complex respiratory needs and high-volume treatments, including the management of high frequency vents and IV therapies. The shift is 12-hour nights, providing a steady schedule to focus on patient needs during this shift while experiencing the unique pace of a busy NICU that handles babies from 22 weeks to full term. Float responsibilities take you briefly to pediatric and postpartum units, adding variety to your assignment. The ideal candidate will be comfortable interpreting basic arrhythmias, working with advanced ventilation equipment, and collaborating with neonatologists and nurse practitioners who oversee the care of these tiny patients. Be prepared for a fast-paced environment emphasizing teamwork and precision, with some flexibility required around weekends and major holidays.
