Job Description:

Join a specialized acute stroke unit as a Registered Nurse, where you'll be playing a vital role in providing targeted care to patients with neurological disorders and other acute medical conditions. This 13-week contract offers a chance to work on a 39-bed unit within a reputable tertiary care hospital. You'll be responsible for managing a patient load with a 1:5 to 1:7 nurse-to-patient ratio, performing charting in EPIC, and responding swiftly to emergencies with your skills in cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia management. Your days will be filled with hands-on care, utilizing your ACLS/BLS certifications and expertise in respiratory management, IV therapy, and isolation precautions. This assignment is perfect for nurses who thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy applying their clinical skills to make a tangible difference in stroke recovery and neurological care.
