Job Description:

Join an active Trauma/Ortho/MED-SURG unit in Alexandria, LA, where you'll be an essential part of a dedicated team caring for up to 36 patients. This 13-week travel contract offers a chance to work 12-hour night shifts in a fast-paced environment that values critical thinking and team collaboration. Expect to perform procedures like wound vac changes, IV insertions, and Foley catheter placements while utilizing equipment such as IV pumps, telemetry monitors, and chest tubes. The unit boasts a staff of 49 professionals, with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 6:1, ensuring a supportive setting where your skills and expertise are appreciated. Bring your active nursing license, ACLS, and BLS certifications and dive into a role that balances challenging work with rewarding experiences.
