Job Description:

Join a dedicated team of Oncology RNs in Wausau, Wisconsin, for a 13-week travel contract working 12-hour night shifts. This role offers the chance to support surgical and medical oncology patients in a specialized MedSurg Oncology unit that handles a small but steady flow of chemo treatments. As a pivotal part of the team, you'll float across different areas as needed, ensuring continuity of care and maintaining a flexible approach. This assignment provides the opportunity to engage in electronic charting with Epic or other systems and utilize advanced equipment like Rovers and Alaris pumps. Be prepared for patient ratios typically ranging from 4:1 to 7:1 on nights, with tech support always available. You'll work within a team that values professionalism and expertise, requiring at least two years of oncology experience and specific certifications including WI RN license, BLS, and chemo certification. A positive attitude and adaptability will make this assignment both rewarding and fulfilling.
